Butch moved back to Florida, and Sina is moving back to Portland at the end of this week, so we have to move to a new place (AGAIN!). Our current house (albeit a little far from school) is totally awesome, so we were a bit bummed at first, but things are looking up.
We might be moving into a MANSION on Fairmount (where all the professors live, right up the hill from campus). If all goes well, we are signing papers today. We're the first applicants. Our apartment was built as either the granny flat or the servant's quarters (the ceilings are low, but it has a beautiful view). The rest of the mansion is inhabited by the UO tennis team, and we're assured that they're good neighbors. For $650/mo, the rent includes all utilities, digital cable, high speed internets, and furniture. WTF?!!?! Awesome.
