Okay, so I'm obviously not changing majors, but I do wish I could choose between two vastly different "life plans" I have. And I am tired of dealing with the administration at this school. New pet peeve: people who are ridiculously disorganized (read: incompetent) at the expense of others.
So, yeah...1) Stick with the path I'm on. Learn more about recording, play more music. I don't think I could be in a band forever because touring would wear me down, but I like studios. Also, so many of the people I have to deal with on a daily basis are the biggest Switchfoot-listening corporate tools ever, so I might go insane before too long.
2) Go to grad school for anthropology or something. I really feel like I'm missing out on taking those types of classes here. I would much rather learn about liberal arts crap forever than statistics and some of the bullshit classes I'm taking now. Eventually, I might be able to become a professor and keep myself in an academic environment surrounded by people who are intellectually stimulating and won't care that audio consoles make me nervous or that I used to listen to AFI or whatever.
I don't know.
Anyway, I pulled an all-nighter to study for Physics last night. I didn't even think I was capable of doing that anymore. But once upon a time, I did this more nights out of the week than not. I think I prefer sleep.
