Metis may be right, it's probably just a guy thing.
That, and after last weekend... I'm surprised girls aren't more violent, especially with how much pressure they're under. Especially self-imposed pressure...
Actually, all that pressure is their own fault. They let themselves be told they should dress a certain way and look a certain way, which often times, goes against their natural body type. So to feel accepted they sacrifice their self-esteem.
Honestly, I'm quite ashamed of them all for not having more pride in themselves to tell all those grabby handed boys to back off. But no, they've been convinced that if they let their date get two handfuls of their backside, then their important.
Bah. If they'd pull their heads out of their asses they'd realize that by focusing on getting the education they're in school to get, they'd have much more hope for their future and wouldn't need sweaty-jock-number-four's attention to feel validated. All that nonsense is just that; nonsense! But magazines and television tell them that skewed priorities are exactly what they should have. It's disgusting.
lskejrl love her. he's so obliviously male.ohvirilityJune 3 2010, 12:46:20 UTC
See, you get it. That's exactly why.
And pressure on guys really hasn't changed that much since my day so it's not a big deal, but... Miriam losing all that weight to fit into her prom dress when she looked fine in the first place and Lily being upset with all that fuss with her boyfriend...
I'm glad I don't have to deal with that. Really glad.

There is also the gay factor.

I wouldn't want to take the chance of explaining it from him anyway.
