GILLIAN ANDERSON! This performance! We're so lucky it was captured on film for NT Live, because it's been weeks and weeks since I saw it and I'm still not over this performance.
Edge of Tomorrow [Movie]
One of the best action movies in recent times that did not get nearly the amount of love it deserved. It needs some vid love, that maybe can inspire others to check it out. RITA RITA RITA. Everything about this character, and her relationship with Cage.
Kumail Nanjiani's The X-Files Files [Audio]
Ok, this is a tricky one, being a podcast. But I'm so enamored with it and with Kumail's love of TXF. A little X-Files Files vid would be a great celebration of this labor of love and of the best TV show of all time.
Manhattan (2014) [TV]
A severely under the radar TV drama from this year. AMAZING LADIES EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK ON THIS THING, and just a great, great show in general.
Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011) [Movie]
The ending of this film got under my skin and never left. Atmospheric, moody, disturbing.
The Leftovers (2014) [TV]
This show also really got under my skin; it took some time to get into, but once I did I couldn't stop thinking about it. NORA DURST IS MY EVERYTHING, so a vid for her would be the ideal-est. The Guilty Remnant would also be fascinating to explore. The visuals and themes in the show, I think, make for lots of rich vidding material.
