do you think that people who arent a fan of MCR have the right to write their fanfiction?
im not saying just because we're fans, it means we have any rights at all. but that is it even okay, like reasonable?
idk, i think i would like more insight on it. i just find it a little unsettling.

Yes, because it's fiction and not libel.
There are plenty of great fanfic authors of mcr fanfiction that don't like MCR at all. Some people just like to write stories about interesting people or good looking people.

A lot of non-mcr fans read fanfiction too. It's just interesting, not true, and stories. I don't think MCR fanfiction should be limited to MCR fans, because it's all about writing potential and nothing to do with music.

thats true, its only about the writing.
but i feel that if they arent fans of mcr,
they cant possibly know how they act. or what they'd say.
so wouldnt it just be like, slapping their faces on made up characters just for the fact that they look that way?

that's only if their stories are horribly written. meaning, all dialogue, no detail, bad grammar and spelling, yadda yadda yadda. it truly depends on how well the writer writes.

even if they're fans, if the story's horribly written. they should improve or stop.

so what i've gotten from this is if you're good, write. fan or not. even if that would be unreasonable.
