so i'm not totally useless.
A lot of my friends list added me because I do icon/banner posts, and since I've totally stopped on that, I thought I'd do something useful and do another tutorial.
We're going from

5 Easy Steps, not translatable, sorry.
1. Get base, crop, resize, etc etc.
2. Duplicate layer > set to Screen. adjust opacity as needed.
3. New Adj. Layer > Selective Color.
Reds:
-40, +55, +100, 0
Yellows:
+100, 0, -100, 0
Magentas:
0, +100, 0, -100
Neutrals:
+100, -25, -30, +28
4. New Adj. Layer > Hue/Saturation
Master: +25
Reds: -10
5. New Adj. Layer > Brightness/Contrast
Brightness: +5
Contrast: + 15
Add text/textures/whatever if you want, but that's pretty much it. :]
Remember, like most tutorials, it won't work on all pictures, so play around with the opacities/settings.
