First, I would like to say a huge THANK YOU!!! to everyone who wished me a very happy birthday! You all rule! xo
My birthday was a success! Hoooorray for that one, twenty years and two days old. Very cool. :D
Friday August 23rd for me started out pretty much like any other day, went to work, played with the babies, got their days together and such. Then when Mary ( their mother) came home, she brought me a cake, and the girls "sang" me happy birthday, and brought out some presents. Awww so adorable!! Little sunflower cards, and they gave me $250 for school. HOLY EFF!!!!! I was soooo shocked, I still freakin' am. That is so unbelievably unexpected and so awesome of them!
Then rushed home from work, to my house, where my brother, josh, tyler, marty, and nikki were there with balloons, and prezzies! My brother got me an OVER THE HILL balloon, whatta brat! haha and he got me an AE rugby shirt, which is pretty damn sweet.
Josh got me a happy face balloon, and ETNIES- CYPRUS shoes, that oh my gosh, I have been drooling about for ages apon ages, and a sweetass pair of pink VOLCOM socks.
From my momma I got money for shopping, which I got a sweeeeet studded pyramid belt, a jean skirt, a red beanietoque, and undies with little kisses on them. ( money still left over! Go bargain shopper melly)
from most of my other aunties and uncles i got money and nice cards :) hooray!!!
Anyways, after presents we booked it to Vancouver, got everything dropped off at Josh's place, and then into SNOWJAM. We got there around 6:45pm, and the gates had opened at 3pm, so we kind of missed all the snowboarding, and such for that day, but we saw some good music, and a little bit of the street course, which was sweet.
Ended up getting a sweet INVASION fleece zip up hoody, and a bunch of stickers!! ROCK! Hung around walking around for a bit, then around 11 or so headed to Lou's (??), on Broadway for some food, beer for the boys, and a long island iced tea for me.
Woke up Saturday morning around 9:30 so we could go down 4th, to exchange my shoes for a bigger size, and do a lil shopping on Robson.
GOT MY SHOES! EEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
Anyways, got to snowjam this time apon the gates being opened, which was awesome!!
Spent the entire afternoon almost at "molson mountain", watched the big air, and best trick comps. SO sweet. i miss snowboarding so much now! ACH! Jesse Lambert(sp?) won for the guys, and Dominique won for the girls, she was so rad, pulled off a backflip and everything! ROCK!! SO awesome.
Snowboarding was definately a highlight. Scored a lot of cool shizz whilst the snowboarding was going on. Everyone was throwing promo stuff out during the contests.

So all and all i was one lucky ass girly!

Dropkick murpheys, SWOLLEN MEMBERS, and Pennywise ripped it up! I wish i hadn't have had my new shoes on, I wanted in that moshpit so badly!! FIrst time i have been near a moshpit and NOT gone in :( *pouts* oh well whatever. It was still an awesome night!
Saw a lot of people i hadn't seen in awhile as well.
