Les Mis...so many emotions
honestly, I'm not too familiar with Les Mis, although I am aware about how iconic it is. of course, I am over the moon happy that Aaron Tveit is cast in it. I have no idea how big of a role Enjolras is. hopefully he gets a decent amount of screen time.
what brought me to write this entry, however, is the whole Taylor Swift debacle. how can she even be considered for any role in Les Mis? and I actually like her! she writes fun music and can sing fine, but can she sing "On My Own"?! HELL NO! I know people think Lea Michele is annoying and blah blah blah, but she can at least sing! better than Taylor, that's for sure. SHE WAS IN LES MIS WHEN SHE WAS LIKE 9. just give it to her, casting people. just give it to her. or just anyone else with some Broadway experience. there are so many fucking talented people out there. HOW MANY BIG NAMES DO YOU NEED?!
