Moving soon. Finally..have been looking online for a new abode. Realized I haven't lived alone for over 2 yrs. Have been house-sharing for too long. Really looking forward to creating my own space again. I do have my own space here, downstairs...but it's still not entirely mine ( Read more... )

Just wrote a comment but it seems to have disappeared... Maybe it'll show up later??

Anyway I was saying I also find having your own place very important. It's truly precious to space that's your own. I don't think I could live with a man again. I tend to start molding myself unconsciously. I want my own space. Do what I want. Except of course I share mine with my kids but that's different. They mess things up but also inspire me.

I also said how I like the image you have with the eye behind the veil. I assume it's your eye.

Good luck with finding a place! (I'm looking too. I need a cheaper place.)

Hi Ansi,
A big clean-out for you, huh ? Sound's like it's freeing you up a little, making space for the new.
I am begining to think that I couldn't live with someone again too. I really am so looking forward to having my own space. I had forgotten how much I need it. I do tend to do the same thing also...mold myself to who is around me...forget about what's important for me.
Don't think I can do that anymore...need to be independant.
The image is of Bjork, actually. Me? ...nope..I'm blonde and blue-eyed..lol

I'm glad I got that cleared up. I had started imagining you as dark, maybe Asian, all wrong then... I like Bjork.

PS Almost didn't get that comment posted either since I typed in the letter o with two dots in Bjork's name... I wonder if I may have done something like that in my last message too...?

tis funny how we build an image, persona on the net. I have an image of you as small, petite and long-haired, with flowers in your hair

LOL! I'm not. I'm pretty tall, pretty normal weight. Definitely not petite. Skinny as a child and teenager but now I could lose a few pounds no problem. My hair is long though. And worn, with split ends. Slowly greying temples, otherwise dark blond-golden brown whatever. I was blond as a kid but pretty dark now. Greenish eyes.

Occasionally a flower here or there but mostly earrings and bracelets.

Are you petite? Long or short hair?

If I ever get the guts i'll post a picture. But it'd have to be a fuzzy one. An avoidant one sort of. So far I've e-mailed a picture to one person only, Nalabean, that's all. Felt strange but kind of cool.

I'm not petite...some would say curvaceous, others would say plump ! Working from home and depressive illness has stacked on the kg's. My hair is now red and short. Went for a short funky cut, and now regretting it! lol ( don't have a current pic, the one I've just posted is about 2 yrs old ). I am greying also, began early at about 25 ( so I colour my hair as often as I can afford it ). My natural hair colour is a bit darker than this pic...sandy blonde. Very blonde as a kid too.
I will prolly take the pic down in a day or too...but happy to send one also.

Hey, I'm glad I got to see your picture. Dare I say that you look like you might have a bit o' mischief about you? And what a pretty place that was taken at.

bit'o'mischief ? Hmm..it has been said that I can look mischievious in pics. Can be like that in person too, with someone I'm close too. I'm not aware I look that way, for the most part :/ ...tis odd. But, I guess I am an odd-bodd !
The pic was taken in Hobart, Tasmania...beautiful part of Australia.

Wow! Cool. Thanks for sharing. You are brave. And no, you don't look at all like Bjork... lol! Nice picture! How old are you btw? Much younger than me, of that I'm sure. I'm 48 so I kind of like my greying hair actually... No coloring...

Maybe I'll be brave amd post a picture of me some time too. And take it down after a day... But not now, I don't have any that don't take up loads of space and I haven't learned how to make them smaller... I'm new to the digital photo stuff.

I'm not sure how to respond, the Rose Fairy is very sweet.
She makes me think of Mary Magdalene and the gnostic reverence of the rose.
( I've just finished reading The Da Vinci Code...a great book which weaves fact and fiction surrounding the search for the Grail and the reovery of the sacred feminine ).

Tis one of the mysteries of cyberville...sometimes the mail gets dropped in the wrong place, or not at all!
Sorry you didn't receive my original email Sarah...the card was lovely and I responded with thanks the very next day .
