He felt something weird brewing in his throat. His chest was heavy and his stomach bloated. To top it all off every bone in his body was aching. Twenty minutes ago this was all very minor but now it was getting worse by the minute. There was definitely something bad happening inside of him. He hadn’t felt good for about 3 weeks now. He figured it must be some sort of flu. But he also figured that if it was a flu then it should be gone by now.
He felt this way before but none of them had ever been this bad or lasted this long. His wife’s idea of taking care of him then was giving him some hot soup. She had little sympathy for him. You know he was supposed to be the king of the house. He was supposed to deal with all problems. He was supposed to be her security. That was okay though, even though he would have liked to be pampered a bit he did understand.
Now the coughing became even more violent. It was to the point where something was coming up to his throat. He was having trouble breathing. He knew he was okay if he kept coughing and he wanted to get out whatever was in there. Finally he spit out a big gob of something that looked rather milky and colorless. To him it reminded him somewhat of an already aborted fetus.
Now he was feeling terrible. He thought he should get himself to a doctor but instead decided that lying down for a while might be the thing to do. He did want to know what was going on but he also hated doctors. On his way to the bedroom the feeling got worse.
The cough was hurting him now, he felt something bigger comeing up his throat. He didn’t think it could get worse than the last one but it was. The pain was excruiciating, he was sure that this time he was going to choke. He honestly thought he was going to throw up one of his organs or something. Finally the obstruction came free and flowed into the toilet bowl. For a very brief second he thought he saw an image of a foot or something before the mucus liquid dispersed around the toilet bowl.
Now he was getting angry. He was sure that his wife should have been hearing the distress he was in but she still wasn’t coming to see if he was okay. He knew that if she was sick he would be taking care of her no matter what. No when the shoe was on the other foot she decided to hide and pretend that nothing was happening.
Even though he was sicker than a dog he was hungry as hell. He was thinking that she could have at least fed him or at the very least showed a little concern by asking him if he was alright.
The next cough was the worst of them. It felt like his head was going to pop off his shoulders and his ribs were going to fly out of his chest. Whatever was coming was coming fast and it was hurting him terribly. All he could think of was where his wife was. Then once again a bloody liquid came from somewhere deep in his chest. It did provide a little relief. Just before he flushed the toilet he looked down at the bloody mess and to his horrible surprise he saw
