Well...I haven't updated in awhile! I had gotten on a roll..and then..it stopped...haha. I'm tired...it's weird cause I have more energy when I sleep only a few hours a night versus when I sleep 7 or 8. I'm sitting here in the living room listening to the TV in my right ear...and in my left ear I hear my sister Shelby's TV and my sister Alyssa laughing/talking w/ her friend Jesus...that girl needs to learn volume control!!! Last night my family and I..plus Alyssa's friend Sarah went to this bat cave...the closest town is comfort. It was really cool...there's about 3 million bats in that one cave!! Each bat only has one baby a year, so they've gotta live for a long time. I think they're Mexican Split Tail Bats...something like that. The bats we saw, do something that a lot of bats don't...because of the way the cave is, they have to exit by making two counter-clockwise circles. Bats can't just get up off the ground and fly, they have to dive off from something high, then they catch wind under their wings. When we were there last night..there was a guy there taping the bats flying out for some outdoors show. It was pretty cool cause everyone sat there really still and quiet so sometimes the bats would fly litterally inches above people's heads.
I will be in Midland for a couple of weeks..it's gonna be cool though, cause my sister's have school so my mom and I are probably gonna be out doing stuff every day. Plus..I won't have to deal w/ Alyssa being all hormonal and moody.
I'm gonna miss Jonahton..hopefully we're able to talk every night. I've grown very attached to him. He said last night that he got me something..then this morning he said that I was gonna be suprised when I got home..every time I asked him why he said..I'm not saying anything but you're gonna be suprised. I told Jonathon that I didn't like that game very much.
On Wed. I had my interview for Payless..Jonathon was over so he just waited for me in Target..then we walked around Bandera Pointe for awhile..then since I can't drive right now cause my Blazer is out of commission..and my dad went over by the Medical Center after he dropped us off, we had to walk back to my house...which I'm guessing is about 3 miles. It wouldn't have been too bad except that when I was getting dressed I forgot that I would probably have to walk home, so I was wearing a pair of those black sandals w/ the straw bottoms...that have the chunky heel..the ones that a lot of people have. Sooo...my feet started killing me at about the half way point. Jonathon and I did a good deed though. We went through Cedar Springs..and we saw these two little boys who were gonna ride their bikes. The one little boy had a ramp..and he left his friend to bring the two bikes, but the poor kid was too small so he kept dropping one of the bikes. So Jonathon and I went back and we pushed one of the bikes for him.
I was supposed to have another interview for Payless tomorrow at 3..but I was supposed to come here..so I made up a little "fib" about my mom needing surgery..and me having to take care of my sisters, so I have to call and reschedule the interview when I get back home. I really wanna work there though..starting pay is $6.50, then there's an evaluation after 6 months, and then after that you get evaluated once a year. I would be a part time employee, and part timers get 20% off shoes..plus when new shipments come in you get to go through them, pick out the shoes you want, and save them until you get paid. Also..once a month there's this thing called "Fashion Forward" and if you help with that you get 50% off of the shoes there.
If Payless doesn't work out..I'm gonna try and get a job at a daycare...cause there's two different shifts you can work..and that would be really good once I start school...plus I know I would enjoy it. So..I guess I'll just have to see what happens. My mom's friend hasn't balanced his books in about a year..soo he asked my mom to organize it for him..and I'm gonna help..so I'll be able to earn some money to use while I'm here. It'll be easy though..cause I got really good at organizing paper work this past year..I bet I'll have it all done within a few hours if I actually sit down and do it.
