(no subject)
so, i just had a revelation... i have monday to work on homework :) i was really stressed out cuz i have a whole bunch of hw, and my dads in town, so i was thinkin id have to get my hw done btwn today and tomorro... but ill have monday to run off into if need b! yay!
on wednesday phil and i took our boards up to the science fair. that whole process was easier than i thought it would b. they just got our names, looked at our boards, and told us where to put everything. i was expecting... i dunno, maybe more paperwork stuff. anyway, yesterday we went to the science fair, there were a whole wopping 9 students that went. i got judged by a total of 4 ppls, 3 of them at one time (they had a sense of humor, fun times) and then later by a navy dude. he was very cut and dry. no one from hutto got to second teir. oh well. we ate lunch at sandy's, across the street from the sci fair. they had a special goin on, so we took full advantage of that and i got a malt, cuz they are good there :). sarah reeves has an irrational fear of birds i learned. but i also learned how amusing it is to feed birds french fries. we were hypothesising about feeding them rice and alkaseltzer. new sci fair idea :P. then we walked around down town. we were going to go up the frost tower, but they dont have an observation deck, and we didnt have an appointment. so then we tried to go up the trinity tower, but again, no deck, no appointment. we decided that mr laubenthal should make appointments at the major skyscrapers in austin so we can go "study their physics". then we went to city hall and just kinda walked around. it was really kinda pretty. mr laubenthal made the wings of modern art flap :) we got back to school just as it was letting out... good timing on our part.
i got home and made plans to meet my father up at the sci fair and mom and i went down there in 5 o'clock traffic. that was fun! got back up there, looked at a few projects, and then it was time for the awards stuff. there was a drum line there, not sure where from, that was good, but they played too long. mark murry was the mc. i won an award- 5th place, woot for me. i dont advance to state, but thats ok with me. my dad took meg and i out to pappasitos. yummy. and then i came home and found my camera sitting on my bed! i was excited.... i got no homework done tho. oh well. none of my teachers really had a prob with that.
today was kinda boring, i was really tired. we had a weird sub in apush, who actually tried to teach us history, it was odd. i missed my theater ppls. things just arent the same with them gone. officers get to go to the omni on thurs, yayness! i think thats all, cuz this is really long :)
