Okay, this is a little embarrassing because I swear I'm usually pretty good at getting puzzles and riddles, but surely some of you other people in this have figured out what Brandon meant by "Platform 9 and 3/4ths

Try tapping the bricks of whatever divides platforms 9 and 10! Apparently tapping bricks with magic wands makes hidden doorways appear in whatever strange world we've entered.

I haven't been to the train station, so I can't say for sure, but that's what I did with a brick wall behind a pub. It's probably worth a try, anyway?

I'm afraid I'm not much help, but it's definitely supposed to be a platform at the train station. But, I haven't had a chance to look for it myself, yet. Guess I should get on that.
