(no subject)
guten morgen!
just writing because im at the studentwohnheim and my friend katherine is in the shower. yesterday was pretty fun, started off the day with school as usual but its so hot that its really hard to concentrate, especially because we are having class outside because of the heat. after school at 1145 everybody split up to go home/shower/get bathing suits to go to the schwarzl see, katherine and i were hungry so we stopped by this little bakery and got bread with brie and some water (free in fact!). so then we realized we needed to go back to the wohnheim where katherine lives so she could get her baby suit, which we basically ran there to be able to catch our bus in time, unfortunately...we missed it. i am becoming notorious for missing the bus trips. HOWEVER, there was another bus leaving a half hour later, so we hit up the local mcdonalds and got a coke/gossiped about life on the trip and who/what should be voted off our little island first. funny stuff. then we went back down and caught our bus. talked to really nice girl from graz who was learning english so that she could study psycology in the states. we finally met up with our group and hung out at the see for a long while. that was bunches of fun. the water felt awesome. there were minows and some of the girls were like EWW minows! im like, come on dude, give me a break we're in a lake! anyway, after the see i went back to my frau's house to shower and visit for a minute. did all that and caught my bus (i did have to run to get it though) back to jakominiplatz, and had a beer at the internet cafe ive started going to. talked to cole for a bit, who has decided on a major, im so excited for him. anyway, met up with katherine and found that little irish bar that we went to with neil the other night and had a bunch of hard cider, and of course a molly burger. (katherine and i had some really awesome talks about life/love/friendship...and such) then we sort of accidentally met up with some people from our program and walked all over the earth for a while trying to find somewhere to dance at 3am. a little late to want to get in somewhere. so we ended up getting a gosser at the local stand and then went on home. (after a bratwurst of course). then katherine and i went back to the wohnheim and talked and i got to talk to cole for like 2 hours! :) i miss him so much but it has been really interesting being here and seeing how our relationship goes with a 6 hour time difference. i think its all gunna be alright.
i think today katherine and i are going to go back to my frau's house, grab some potentially clubby clothes and some more comfortable shoes. then get some food because holy shit. then i suppose head off to the eggenberg castle or perhaps just go shopping! who knows....ive had my eye on this bag with the world on it at this bookstore...meh.
