How is it no comments? This is beautifully written, the idea/event well realised. Thank you, I enjoyed reading it immensely. ;)

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, if you pare it down to the basics, Sam's addiction is really not that unusual...and the Little Engine metaphor sprung to mind as soon as I read Coredlia Gray's prompt!

Oh, I liked this! I was curious what you would do with this prompt and I love the result. It's an unlikely situation, but it's still so very much them.

Glad you liked it. Yeah, it's a bit of a break from their usual suck it up, bury it deep attitude, isn't it? A Winchester...actually asking for help...wow. That's what made it such a fun prompt! :)

I really enjoyed this, I think you filled the prompt perfectly. Your characterizations were very Sam and Dean. I could see both of them clearly in this story and that doesn't always happen, so well done!

Thank you! Filling the prompt accurately and getting the characterizations right - they're the key, so I'm absolutely thrilled that both those elements came across for you! (Your icon made me laugh!)
