The first time Sam tried to use his new powers to exorcise a demon -- while Dean is in hell -- he not only gets a nosebleed and headache, he loses his sight. And he loses Roby, who sees her carefully laid plans fall apart and shows her true colours. Dean returns to a "useless" (according to Sam), blind brother.

Clearly, I can't spell. "Roby" should clearly be "Ruby". UGH.

I'm a gen nut. There are far, far too few good gen stories in this fandom.

If someone wanted to write one with a little comfort kissing, that would be okay with me, though. I grew up with that, even between what would today be called straight men. I've seen married brothers cuddle and kiss when one was upset, so all that's cool with me.
