It's November 2nd, and we all know what day that is! Thus, in order to celebrate it, we are hosting our first fic challenge at ohsam.

I have a really stupid question... where are the prompts? Has prompting not started?

I've never, ever managed to contribute to one of these, but it's for a good cause and all.... ;) If only I could figure out how it works.

I had been all sad that nobody was commenting in this thread - am very relieved that it is not so. Now I just need to think of a prompt, which is not one of my strong points. Thanks for doing this!

Rule #9 covers posting: by ALL means post directly to the comm if that's what you want. A lot of authors prefer to post to their own LJs and link back (myself included) so that comments all go to the same place, but it's not mandatory.

It's your story, cross-post wherever you'd like. The only rule is that you must post to ohsam first, or at the very least simultaneously. :)

Yup! You just make an entry and select ohsam as the journal you want to post to instead of your own (there's a drop-down menu). Don't forget your LJ-cut. :)
