Prompt/Summary: Written for the Sam-focused h/c fic challenge for the prompt -
Sam can't feel anything, but he'll still do anything for his brother. And all Dean wants is to make Sam feel, even if it's pain. Messed-upedness. Rough sex and Dean-hurting-Samness. A scene with an emotional (crying?) Dean running his hands through an exhausted, fucked-out Sam's hair while he's on top of him and screaming at Sam to feel something would be great. Sam loves his brother and wants to feel something and make Dean feel better, but he just can't.

I wanted to get this story out before Sera Gambled it, and I made it (barely). Sam’s still soulless in this story, and he hasn’t yet tried to kill Bobby.
Hope you can forgive a large discrepancy - the story is set during summer, not winter. Also, the story got away from me. Probably too much. I hope there’s enough of what the prompter requested to satisfy.
Also, the Alabama ghost story is loosely based on a bit of railroad folklore I found on the net.
