Chapter 1: Suspicious
Amber has lived alone since He left. Henry did not want to give up the relationship but Amber thought that its not gonna work. Henry went to the states to continue his studies while Amber was left in Seoul to fulfil her dreams. But little did she know that she was gonna find love. Henry has been gone for a year now. And truthfully it was not an easy thing. She had so many sleepless nights crying, wishing that He was with her. That Henry would be able to see what she has achieved now. She misses him terribly but they need to live with the fact that they are not together anymore. Little did she know that unexpected things may happen.
Amber went to the Office. She changed a lot since “He” left. She wears fit jeans, flirty skirts and her hair is long now. When she was with Henry she always had this boyish look that Henry really likes. Henry accepted her like that even if others would say that she looked like a boy. She got out of her car wearing her classy slacks, a button down long sleeved Shirt and a pair of strappy high heels. She opens the back passenger door and reaches for her files and her laptop bag.
A car swerved to the parking slot next to hers and a loud beep from the car horn.
“Hey Amber! Wait up!” A voice of another female was heard.
“Hey Krystal” Amber greeted with a smile.
“You goin up now?” Krystal say as she gets out of her car. “Oh do you have anything to do later? I’ll introduce you to my friend.
“You never give up… Krystal.” Amber rolls her eyes “How many times do I have to tell you that I don’t want to meet any boys”
Krystal has been trying to have Amber hook up with other guys since Henry left for the States. Well she just basically wants her best friend to enjoy life and meet new people.
“But hey.. you still owe me for leaving me at that party 2 weeks ago!” Krystal whined
“You know I don’t like those parties…” Amber reasoned “And I was not feeling well that night”
“You are really something. But you met Henry at a party” Krystal defended
Amber’s cheery smile disappeared as both the ladies walked in the office.

Sungkyu walked in the vacant office space. Satisfyingly smiled to himself. He finally found the perfect place to do set his Dance Studio with his Partner . He reaches for his handphone and dials.
“Hello~” Sungyu started. “I just found the perfect place. You should see this.”
Myungsoo answers the phone on the other line.
“Okay.. Lets talk about it at dinner!” Myungsoo states
“You are not planning to set me up again with one of those girls of yours right?” Sungkyu starting to be suspicious
“Hyung… We are talking about business. Im talking about a Business dinner here.” He reasons
“Strictly business?” he paused….. and then Hesitantly Sungkyu utters “Okay then”
Delighted Myungsoo thinks that this plan might finally work. Krystal works for an advertising company and they would need some serious advertising if ever for the opening of their studio. And she has been bugging him to have a double date with Sungkyu.
Myungsoo drops the call. And immediately presses the speed dial to call Krystal
“hey Krys!” he sounding so proud. “I got SUngkyu hyung to do the dinner.”

After work….
Krystal walks towards Amber’s desk and sits on the edge. Fiddling with some of the documents on the table.
“We have a dinner meeting tonight.” Krystal started hoping that Amber would not know what she is up to.
“Really?” Amber with a delighted expression “This is a new client right?” She always brightens up when its about new clients but if its date with boys she has no reaction at all. Krystal sometimes think that Henry turned Amber into a manhater.
“Normal girls go like this when its boys. You are weird” Krystal teases.
“Im not a normal girl” Amber stuck her tongue out at her best friend.
Amber was not normal. When she came from the states she really looked like a handsome boy. It was the same time Henry met her. Henry already lived in korea for a year when Amber came into his life. He was the one who showed her the ropes around Seoul and eventually they fell in love. But that’s over now. Henry accepted Amber even if she does not dress up like other girls. Henry loved how she is like a baby. That is why he always took care of her. It was painful for the both of them to part. Henry tried to keep the relationship stay but Amber really objected. All she wanted was for henry to have no hang ups while he was in the States to study. But was her decision correct. She has asked herself a lot of times too. Sometimes she regret it because of the pain and the longing she feels but she always try to justify it just to ease the pain. Just to make her heart and mind feel and think that she did the right thing.
Krystal made sure that this time Amber cannot run. Instead of heading to the restaurant in separate cars, she insisted that Amber leaves her car and just hitch a ride with her instead. Amber is very sensitive. Something her cousin Heechul taught her. She has to be aware of what is going on around her so that she won’t be fooled.
“Do I really need to leave my car in the office?” Amber whines
“Amber! We are just going to go to the same place. Its really impractical for you to bring your car and me bringin my car. Think about the gas we can save. And besides I can drive you back to the office since the office is still on the way when you head for home.” Krystal smartly reasons.
“BUT-“
Krystal interjected “No more questions and no more buts…”

At the restaurant.
SungKyu and Myungsoo were already seated. Waiting for Amber and Krystal to arrive. Myungsoo kept fixing Sungkyu’s collar making the latter suspicious again…
“Are you sure that this is a business dinner?”
“Yeah”
“But why the heck are you fixing me up from time to time.” Sungkyu questioned.
“Just because” Myungsoo paused and thought of a convincing excuse “well. This is a big Advertising company we are talking to. If you don’t impress them they might turn us down..”
“Turn us down? But we are the customers aren’t we the ones who should be turning them down if ever?”
Myungsoo reaches for sungkyu’s cap and tries to remove it
“What are you doing” Sungkyu tapping Myungsoo’s hand away. “Id like to wear the cap’
Amber and Krystal arrived and entered the restaurant.
Myungsoo waves to the two girls, Krystal held on to Amber’s arm just incase she runs away. But what caught Amber’s attention was the guy that Myungsoo, Her bestfriend’s boyfriend is with. He looked familiar. With the cap on and the varsity jacket He thinks……
Amber tried to have Krystal let go of her. But she was holding on to her arm tightly. Slightly dragging her to the table.
“Krys, Let me go.” Amber said in a low voice.
“No.. This is a business dinner and you might run away” Krystal reasoned.
Both the girls reached the table and Amber was still trying to resist “But you did not tell me that Hen-“ she was stunned because she thought she was gonna see Henry but this was a totally different guy….
