I'm a War of Head Versus Heart
For as excited as I was about Lost Season 4 coming out, I, surprisingly, haven't watched any of it yet. We've been having friends over every night and we can't watch it around them because they haven't seen any of the other seasons. What kind of friends would we be if we ruined Lost for them?!
Sarah, Michelle, Brandie, and Katie were over last night for party chicken and potato dish. Mmmmm. PS, Sarah, I really hate you for your tattoo, I am jealous. I considered getting something similar with those lyrics once but pussed out. Sarah, Michelle and Katie all went back to Orlando and Brandie is having brain surgery today. Brandie, you'll be in my thoughts today, I love you.
Christmas is right around the corner, but I feel like it has already come and gone. We did all of our shopping so early and we've had the tree up for so long, it's weird to see other peoples' Christmas lights (including at work) just now going up.
Today I have a sexual harassment meeting at work and I was supposed to be able to do my rental pool work and do inventory on a few units, but that doesn't seem like it's going to be very plausible since there are tornado warnings and I don't know how well a golf cart would hold up to them.
I had a dentist appointment yesterday but they ended up pushing it to next Friday so that I can continue whitening. Lucky me. They have to do my three front teeth which means they'd practically be sticking needles in my eye sockets to get the front of my mouth numb.
Gavyn is starting to pick Emma up and carry her around the house. He is trying to be nice, and he even says, "NICE!?" every time he picks her up and/or kisses her. It still freaks me out every time I see him holding her, though, because I'm afraid he's going to hurt her or she's going to scratch him.
It's going to be pretty quiet at the house for the next week, but I can't say that I'm not excited to go home, relax, cuddle, and watch a whole lot of Lost. And nap. I haven't napped in like a week. I love naps.
