There's nothing going on here so far in Chicago, the weather channel says there'll be a mix of rain and snow on Tuesday but otherwise it's not bad here at all. :) Got to say I like that we're dodging this mess when usually we get hit hard.

My sister's boyfriend is staying with us in MD, and he's from Chicago and he's like "I don't think we ever get this much snow at one time!" and I was skeptical but apparently the record storms in Chicago have been like, under 2 feet of snow. But you guys frequently are getting storms with with blizzard conditions whereas we get them like....maybe once every few years, and usually it's just a lot of snow, and not all that windy. Also people here freak out over an inch of snow, so it's usually pretty sad lol

Our snowstorms don't get a lot of snow but there is something about them that make them 10x more miserable than any of the storms and bigger snow accumulations I lived through as a child in Michigan.
