January 15, 2016 René had battled three times with throat cancer and passed away yesterday morning, two days before his 74th birthday. He leaves behind six children, three from previous marriages and three with Celine (René-Charles who will be 15 on the 25th and twins Nelson and Eddy who just turned 5 in October).
