To launch The Happy Hippie Foundation, Miley created a new Backyard Sessions series and invited special musical guests to perform with her to make these music video collaborations.

The Happy Hippie Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by Miley Cyrus.

i want to like her and i want to support this because it's such a good idea and good use of fame but she is just so aggy that i can't help but think this is another ~schtick for her

I am usually very annoyed by her, but this actually seems genuine and the music isn't bad.

She's been lowkey working with homeless organizations for over the last year. It started with that homeless dude Jesse and the VMAs, she raised like 200k in a week or something like that. Even during The Dark Days of 2010 in her most drugged out spiral she was still being papped with her ugly ratty noodle weave donating her clothes. As for LGBT support, she's been open with that for years, even while she was still under Disney. These one seems genuine.
