Amazing Race Jumps the Shark Edition

The principle basis for The Amazing Race is pairs of pre-existing relationships in a race around the world.

All of that is thrown out the window with the upcoming season. There will be six dating pairs along with five other pairs who will meet for the first time at the start of the race. Jonathan Knight of New Kids On The Block is rumored to be part of the cast, which has not been officially announced yet.

The next season of The Amazing Race premiers on February 25th, 2015.
