Cameron Diaz Calls Celeb Nude Photos Leak a ''Major Violation'

Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel are speaking out against the mass hacking and leak of celebrity nude photos.

Following the unauthorized release of NSFW pics featuring Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and dozens of other female stars, Diaz and Segel, who deal with a similar situation in their comedy Sex Tape, are defending the victims of the leak.

"What has happened in real life is a terrible crime," Jason said this week on the U.K. talk show This Morning. "It's very easy when you use the word 'celebrity' to take away the human aspect that that is an actual person, with a life. The whole tabloid culture to some extent dehumanizes the idea of what a celebrity is. This is a person."

"It is a major violation," Diaz went on. "Hopefully whoever has done it will be caught and made examples of because this can happen to anyone. If these guys can do it to this group of people, then everyone is vulnerable to it, and I think that people really need question how they would feel if that happened to them."

Diaz and Segel aren't the first celebs to defend Lawrence and other hacking victims. This week Lena Dunham tweeted, "The way in which you share your body must be a CHOICE. Support these women and do not look at these pictures...Remember, when you look at these pictures you are violating these women again and again. It's not okay."
