so season 1/2 rachel berry was 110% me in high school (if rachel berry was gay) and when this epiode aired my mom saw the over the top wink and turned to me with this horrified look land said "oh my god it's like they've met you"
glad that rachel berry's character arc didn't follow my irl trajectory tho, even though I also had an ill advised senior year engagement and went to college for vocal performance
Run, Joey, Run was iconic. That and Jesse St. James are the only reasons why Glee should have been cancelled after the first episodes of s2 and not during the first 13 in s1.
the highlight of the series was run, joey, run tho. it was all downhill after that.
