The HIMYM cast and crew have been filming the series finale for the past two weeks, and shooting wrapped up today. They've been Tweeting their progress since the final table read a while ago.

Should I watch this show from the very beginning? I feel like I would never understand the show at all, but I'm curious

I only started watching 3 seasons ago when I moved home and I was able to pick up. Granted, I also so the occasional odd-end episode between then, so you'd be pretty ok, but starting from the beginning is always the best

Yes! The first 3-4 seasons especially are great.

the show is pretty easy to understand...but definitely watch from the beginning! they bring in a lot of old jokes so it makes more sense if you watch it in order

yes, the first few seasons are SO good! I've seen every episode. It does slow down in some of the latter seasons, but it's worth it, imo.

I had the same thought, I think I'd kinda want a 'coles notes' version because there's just so MUCH of it. I'm not sure I'm that dedicated to watch so much of a comedy tv show.

Definitely. Mostly because the first few seasons are the best, and I love them more than what is probably healthy.
