this was so on point. i hated how they made brian's character the personal soapbox for all the writers midway through the show's run. it was such a preachy pain in the ass.

This was the point when I was all for Brian's death because he's become as much a stereotype as the rest of the characters, and they need to bring back a dog that isn't a walking stereotype unless you count Voice of Reason as one of those.
