Hackgate: Phone hacking jury told Rebekah Brooks and Andy Coulson had six-year affair Relationship covers much of period editors are said to have been involved in criminal conspiracy to hack phones
It's nice that The Sun have thrown off all pretences and are admitting they're nothing but a reactionary trolling bag of racists, misogynists, haters of the working class and shit-stirring.
See, I'm sure a lot of people would have cared on some level about the day-to-day evidence of the hacking trial, and made a lot of worthy noises about newspaper regulation vs. the importance of press freedom and whatnot.
But throw in some illicit shaggin'? KABOOM! Everyone's paying attention now! *cackle*
And they're starting with this! This is the first week, and it's going to go on for about four months! (Hopefully)
Got to love the sheer gall of Brooks & Coulson's lawyers ranting about how they don't want a trial by tabloid with Private Eye and the like.
