What in the? I don't even think that statement is true. I think REAL issue is that most women CANNOT afford to do this.

I have known plenty who WANT a voluntary mastectomy but could not afford it. The issue is about affording it. Most cannot unless they are wealthy.

Time off, not covered by insurance, needing someone to take care of their lives/kids during downtime, etc.
