I saw them filming in Vancouver on Monday. There were a ton of observers, a fake NYC cab, a District 9 sign, and a yellow car split in half.

I thought I would never see it either, but we stumbled upon it by accident, and I was so happy. I've seen a lot of movies filming before but never any that I cared about. We didn't see any of the main cast though my dad who has never watched the show kept insisting that this extra was one of the stars.

I also recommend seeing the Arthur Ericson Building near Granville Island. It was definitely in Battlestar Galactica, V, Smallville (maybe fringe) and almost every other Sci Fi show shot in Vancouver (besides x-files).
