He seems so sweet, but yes. I think that I would find his personality grating in a "dating" context.

late comment is late - but he even admits to being a clinger. On the special features in the Forgetting Sarah Marshall dvd he says he becomes "obsessed" with whoever he dates and changes his whole life to revolve around them.

And I'd be inclined to believe it since FSM was about his break up with Linda Cardanelli, and the break up occurred years before that and he hadn't been a serious relationship since that one. (why do I know so much about Jason Segel? =/)
