Am I the only one utterly disgusted by even the idea of Andy/Nancy? I've watched every ep. yet I STILL can't seem to make myself watch last night's because of that.
yeah i mean, i havent watched it in a long time. i did catch a random rerun recently where andy was being all emo bc she was pregnant by some other dude (???? what?) and i was disgusted that he even wanted to be with her at all.
I mean, im sorry, but i would never want my sister's sloppy seconds. especially if she was dead. thats not right. and their relationship was always more brother/sister to me.
Ah, Esteban... Mayor of Mexico, iirc. He was also the mob/drug kingpin/human trafficker Guillermo worked for. But when they went to jail, Nancy's crazy sister got to take care of Stevie and decided she wanted to keep him as her own even when Nancy got out. Meanwhile Esteban was supposedly stabbed in prison. (We never saw a body though, so who knows.)
Exactly! Plus, I've always felt that Andy deserved better than Nancy.
so... wait? nancy got arrested? and had her baby in prison? nancy has a sister? wtf i should probably just go back and finish this damn series but i got bored there in the middle. I think i stopped right when she met the mexican mayor.
andy was kind of a douche to women so he doesnt really deserve like... the best ever but yeah... nancy is really no prize. Also- it's not ok to fuck your children's uncle.
Nancy turned herself in. It was basically that or be killed by Esteban. And oh yeah, Nancy's sister. Let's just say Andy got to know her pretty well too.
I'll agree, especially in the earlier seasons. But lately Andy's gotten better, he's really tried to be a grown up. Mostly, lately, he's wanted to get married, have kids, settle down. About two episodes ago he thought he'd found the perfect woman to do that with, despite knowing her for maybe an hour, and married her. I'm guessing that's already over.
Yeah. I don't mind Andy/Nancy the way it's mostly always been portrayed, i.e. one-sided on Andy's part and nothing ever happening between them, but at the same time I've always wanted Andy to someday move on and be happy. And despite my aversion to Andy/Nancy, I thought last night captured them pretty well. The sex scene was awkward and uncomfortable and desperate, which is what I imagined any hookup between them would be. I hope Andy gets closure.
I could deal if their friendship evolved (I thought it was cute Nancy called him her best friend), but considering Nancy hasn't been with anyone she hasn't needed to manipulate since Judah died, and she generally treats Andy like shit, I don't like them as show endgame.

Andy has been there for her but I too believe that line shouldn't be crossed.
