I have this odd feeling that how they portray mentally ill people is going to bother me, but I'll watch it anyways.

It's a Ryan Murphy show in its second season. Of course it's going to be bothersome, problematic, and a fucking trainwreck. But, he seems to be putting more effort into it than he usually does with his shows, so it might not be too awful.
