Linkin Park have debuted the first single from their fifth studio album online. You can hear the track, which is titled 'Burn It Down', by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.

The track is the first to be taken from the band's new album 'Living Things', which is due for release on June 25 in the UK and June 26 in the US. The record is the follow-up to the band's 2010 fourth album 'A Thousand Suns'.

Other tracks which the band have said are likely to feature on 'Living Things' include 'Lost In The Echo', 'In My Remains', 'Castle Of Glass' and 'I'll Be Gone'.

Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington has previously said that he believes the band went overboard with the experimentation on 'A Thousand Suns' and has promised that they will return to more familiar territory on the new album.

He said: "With this album, we've incorporated a lot of guitar work with big choruses and the heavier electronic stuff to give it that really big wall of sound feeling without getting too metal. This will be more familiar to people than 'A Thousand Suns' was, where we were like 'Fuck it, we're just going to go bonkers."
