OT does anyone know any cool modern art festivals that aren't Art Basel or Burning Man? I'm having a hard time finding one, even a museum would be good. So far the only decent thing I've found is the Pompidou Centre.

lol i live in Toronto, and our (SCOTIABANK) nuit blanche is p heavily publicized/attended. its not really that great but its a still a p neat idea.

the venice biennale<3 if that counts. i was there for opening week this year and it was soo amazing! each country (i think it was something like 89 this year?) has their own "pavilion" where they showcase one artist from their country (sometimes more than one if artists collaborated). some countries have their own permanent pavilions they reuse every time (about thirty i think?) in the same little area, and then other countries have little places they rent spread out all over Venice. i know it's not really in the same vein as Burning Man but it is a contemporary art festival.
