Whre do Scientologists stand on pain-relieving drugs? Is Katie allowed an epidural?

Not that a silent birth would be possible either way, hello. I'd like to see Tom Cruise shit a melon, whole, in total silence, making all his movements slow and understandable.

Good God. If everything else about Crazy Tom Cruise weren't enough, that *alone* would put me off having a baby with him.

Or for him, or whatever KH is doing. The whole thing is so ick.

She probably gets a fistful of vitamins beforehand!

*laughs*

Yes, And some nice yoghurt. I also heard they take the baby away from her for a few days after birth. I hope she takes that kid and *runs*, man.

From what I read, everyone is supposed to leave the baby alone for "a day or so", or something.

Whatever man, these people are fucking whacked.

On this website here it says Katie has refused the seperation part. But it also says the baby should not be bathed after birth.

Um. Okay? SO you're going to leave blood, goo and god knows what else all over it, wrap it in a blanket and *leave* it for a few days? NICE.

When you say "leave" and "for a a day or so" does this mean that no one tends to the baby or just not the mother?

No idea. I'm just reading from websites and the like. I can't imagine the baby is supposed to be left completely alone though, on account of how it could die, and all.

The whole thing is just bizarre.

i heard somewhere that its better for the babys skin to not wash it, but just wipe it down a little
i dont know how true this is, but its not the first time ive heard about it

*nods* Lots of people say not to wash the baby's skin with cleansers, but just to use water. But you need to clean the birth-goop off, otherwise it'll irritate the skin and go all crusty and yak, right? I Mean, *I* wouldn't be comfortable if I were covered in blood and wrapped in a blanket, and I have pretty tough old hide ;)

I know some places actually save the goopy stuff babies are wrapped in after they're born and put it in moisturizers. Nasty, but it's supposed to be really good for your skin.
