I went to a few countries in africa for a summer for some volunteer work and there were always so many kids I wanted to just help out but I was just a kid and there's no way I could adopt... it's sad how many kids out there need homes yet people spend thousands on treatments because they just have to have biological children as if they're better than adopted children. fuck that mentality. I will probably never have biological kids, I want to adopt.

i think adoption is beautiful but it can be a lot harder than IVF or surrogacy. psych, home and financial checks, paying thousands and waiting years, the prep work can be emotionally very difficult.
