I'm only now starting season 2 of the original series. It's gotten a lot darker. What was the general response to the difference between the seasons?

I love it, btw, just wondering since I'm watching later than most.

I still need to watch all of season 2 of the original.

I watched the first two or three episodes and completely forgot about it but yes it did seem a lot better than the first.
