i've always wondered why he mostly speaks in an american accent if he is also scottish. he can speak in both, which is really crazy to me.

he was born in glasgow but moved to midwest america when he was a kid, and other kids used to make fun of him because of his scottish accent. thus, he adopted the american. but since he's scottish, that accent is still wired in him. (i know this because i am creepy and saw a youtube UK interview of him and his sister)
