the whole religious subject of that movie was really annoying to me but i didnt care i just stared at his face for two hours

Horrid. If you are a fan of the story/book don't watch. I would rather pound nails in my forehead. Get the the original version With Jeremy Irons in the roll. Its like 9 hours. The film is just a mess, how could they think it could break down into 2 hours ????

I know , I know what people are saying . The director only made two good choices, using the same local for Brideshead as the grenada production and hiring THIS actor. I am a huge fan of the book so the film is unbearable :(

If you want a similar effect , see "state of play" its another british import that turned to shit when it crossed the ocean. :)

I'll watch the original lol, thanks to you. I haven't seen the State of Play miniseries, but I did love the movie. That sucks that you didn't like it, but I'll watch the miniseries of that too.
