I haven't read the novel so I wasn't sure what to expect. I heard good things so I grabbed it right away when I saw it at blockbuster for only $4. I liked it; but I need to watch it again, perhaps when my sister doesn't feel the need to listen to some music in the middle of the movie, in the same room!

Its an amazing movie. Honestly though, you need to watch it like three times to completely understand it. :p I loved the typewriting music throughout. =]

(and just a little tidbit that I love, that beach scene was filmed in one take...gotta give love to Joe)
