It's not just skin color...it's also about the culture, architect etc in avatar that is so clearly asian.

Also uh...there are Asians that are quite fair-skinned.

And most importantly, it's Jesse McCartney.

Reguardless, the characters in the tv show, in my opinion, have very European jawlines.

You don't exactly have to act to play Zuko. Keanu Reeves would play a GREAT Zuko, lulz. Love the character, but all he does is fight and look grumpy until the last season.
