The RSC isn't issuing refunds, as they say their good understudy policy, makes it so the show can go on as usual without a deterrence to the whole event.

And hearing reviews of Edward who's the Hamlet understudy (who played/plays Laertes) taking over for David, it seems like he's pulling it off.

Understandable that fans will be upset though.
