its ridiculous to think they took away rights previously available. i grew up in a mostly single parent home and i turned out fine. having gay parents (i'm looking at you, arkansas) is not going to ruin a kid's life.

I hope to God that all those people who got married will at least be grandfathered in-- this whole thing is soooo fucked up. I don't see why a gay couple is not entitled to the same rights that straight couples are entitled to? I just can't seem to grasp the idea that we now will have a black president, but people who happen to have a different sexual preference are still discriminated against in this day and age.It makes me wanna puke. I hope they can get this thing passed someday very soon.
