I've never watched an episode of Mr. Rogers in my whole life, but I do love that last video. It makes me feel like everything's gonna be okay.

And I think that was exactly what he was trying to do with kids. Make them feel like everything's ok and they are ok, whoever they are. *SOB*

I grew up watching him. And I still watched him in between classes. Shame because PBS plays some of the worst gall dern shows ever (Fetch, WordWorld/Girl), Boobah, etc)

Boobah is the product of some really powerful drugs.

"You just have to recognize inevitably the fact that this is an old program and appeals less and less to the market," Morrison said.

Heh, sure, because "the market" isn't constantly being replaced by new babies every day that have never seen Mr. Rogers. But these babies are obviously born with a keen sense of pop culture and come out of the womb actively demanding "modern" programming.

Exactly. What a ridiculous statement.

Babies are being marketed so hardcore it's not even funny. Mr. Rogers would be a blessing.

It is horrible how much marketing is geared toward 2 year olds.

My dad had NF, so he had a few noticeable bumps on his skin. I would either be sad or extremely angry towards people who gave him strange looks bc I was protective of his feelings. When I was six, I caught a 12 year old snickering behind his back and I rammed him hard enough to knock him over with the family's shopping cart.

That asshole deserved it though.
