They're doing the movies in the order the books were published in.

The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe
Prince Caspian
Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Silver Chair
Horse and His Boy
The Magician's Nephew
The Last Battle

which is a better order to read them in, I believe.
