The Spanish version of Temptation Island has set the internet ablaze with a two minute clip of high stakes drama that includes: a Spanish man watching a video feed of his girlfriend in a bed, with another man, while a storm rages behind him.

The memes have started up, and thinkpieces have already been written up about this moment of reality tv saying it could be a turning point in the genre. People are thinking Montoya could pivot this moment into a career if he capitalises on it smartly.
But what the whole debacle has shown is that people are like Marie Kondo: They love mess.

- Montoya and the host of Spanish Temptation Island watch live on a screen of Montoya's gf Anita lying in bed, while a hunky dude in speedos licks her lips.
- Montoya in anguish cannot believe his eyes.
- Anita and hunky dude in speedos escalate their activities, with kissing, and eventually Speedos Man, turns off the lights and gets into bed with Anita.
- Montoya clutches his shorts in pain and starts crying in (Spanish) torment.
- The host of the show tries to calm Montoya down, but Montoya cannot keep his agony in any longer and starts running down the beach towards the house while the host runs after him, shouting the aformentioned line, "Montoya! Por Favor!"
- While Montoya runs down the beach, a storm rages behind him, and the video cuts to Anita on top of Speedos man, humping in bed.
- Montoya screams her name as he reaches the house startling the contestants as well as Anita and Speedos man, who stop mid coitus... while the storm rages on.
