It's not him. He lives in the city and didn't meet Kristen until after she was in SATC, his motorcycle crash is too late to fit her story. Sex and the City was already out when he crashed, and he wasn't living or working outside of the UK during that time period, the BBC had him on 2 tv shows and 3 movies (lead actor), he wasn't even close to out of work.

It's not him. Both his accident and his relationship with her came after SATC, she said she was ghosted before SATC (so it'd have to be someone before 98). He spent the 90s in the UK and they didn't meet until after 2000 (when he started taking roles across the pond)
