After years of rumors, Peacock confirmed in December that a Friday Night Lights reboot is in development. So far, the only ones returning are members of the creative team: showrunner Jason Katims, director Peter Berg, and executive producer Brian Grazer. No one has been cast yet, but of course people are wondering if any of the actors from the original tv show will return.

Taylor Kitsch has made it clear over the years that as much as he loved the experience of playing Tim Riggins (and still loves his FNL family), he has no interest in revisiting the role. But with renewed interest in the show due to the reboot, he's being asked about it AGAIN (the interviewer above saw a rumor that Taylor would be starring on the new show). In response, Kitsch reiterated that he will not be part of the new series. He did concede that if Peter Berg asked him to come in for a quick cameo, he would be willing to come film for a day, but he is not interested in starring on the reboot.
